Surprise Weddings can only be a surprise to the couples family & friends and can not be a surprise to either of the couples . Some good guises to get your family & friends to come along is an engagement party, birthday or a dinner invite.
I offer my couples a personally written ceremony, can keep a secret and will guide you as much as I can as of course offer lots of practical tips and advice to make sure it all comes together!
Commitment & Renewal of Vows Ceremony
Perfect for you if you have already been legally married and would like to give the opportunity for your family & friends who couldn’t be there to celebrate with you. Or if you have reached an important milestone in your marriage and would like the opportunity to renewal your vows and celebrate your journey together.
Baby Naming Ceremony
A personal naming allows you to choose what components you would like to have your child’s ceremony. You are able to express your joy and commitment to your family your way.
Naming Ceremonies are also a great opportunity for brothers, sisters, stepbrothers and stepsisters to express their love and commitment to caring for their family members. If a new member is being adopted into the family, Naming Ceremonies give the new family a chance to celebrate this wonderful commitment to each other.
Often people like to recognize the chosen guardians, godparents or mentors of the children. My ceremonies include formal certificates for the children being named and Thank you certificates for the Guardians, mentors or godparents.
The Naming Ceremony can be the basis of a very special gathering at any stage of a baby or child’s life. It is an opportunity to declare before family and friends, your promises to be as good a parent as you can, and for your adult friends and relatives to confirm their special relationship with your child.
I also include a selection of poems, wishes and readings for you to choose from. You may be want to involved as much as possible with the ceremony design or leave it totally up to me. The choice is yours.
Visa and Fiancé Visa Applications
As part of my services I can receive and witnesses your Notice of Intended Marriage and also provide you with the necessary letter to give to the immigration department for proof of lodgement. I have successfully helped many couples marry their international partners. Although both signatures being witnessed together is desirable, legally we only need one person to be witnessed signing to activate the Notice of Intended Marriage.
Of course, if you have any further questions about the legalities of marriage as they apply in Australia, then please do not hesitate to give me a call on 0414 476 538, and I’ll be happy to provide further clarification.
You don’t need to be an Australian citizen to be married in Australia. So YES I can marry you if you are on holidays and are wanting to be married as long as the legal documents are completed within the required timeframes as per Marriage Act 1961…just remember to double check with your own country to ensure that a wedding ceremony performed in Australia is recognised as legal when you get back home. Your countries embassy should be able to help you with this.
